Summary:
Under supervision of the Information Technology Director, assists in the maintenance and operation of all Information Technology systems and processes.
Essential Functions:
? Very strong customer service experience and attitude ? Installs and configures software and hardware ? Manages network servers and technology tools ? Manages set up for IT accounts including e-mail ? Manages set up for workstations for maximum efficiency and usage ? Monitors performance and maintains systems according to established requirements ? Troubleshoots technology issues and outages ? Monitors work order system and addresses incoming work tickets in a timely manner ? Ensures security through access controls, backups and regular security updates ? Develops expertise to train staff members on new and updated technologies ? May be asked to perform additional duties as assigned MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) year of related experience is required.
Class C Driver's license required at time of hire and a Class C TEXAS Driver's License required within six (6) months of hire.
Required to use personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided) with valid vehicle insurance to perform job tasks.
Required to use personal cell phone (cell phone allowance provided) to perform job tasks.
Experience with Linux preferred.
Experience in programming and / or scripting preferred.
Work schedule includes occasional nights and weekends including on-call assignments as needed.
Work requires general knowledge in technical field and the ability to understand operational and technical processes.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
Job requires a resourceful problem solving aptitude.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
? Required to lift, hold and carry office and technology equipment including sharp objects ? Required to sit, stand, reach, twist, walk, and bend to perform duties ? Required to work on uneven surfaces and climb ladders as needed ? Fine dexterity and manipulation necessary to operate tools and equipment ? May be required to work in extreme temperatures (heat, cold, etc.
) ? May be required to work near loud noise, dangerous machinery and electrical hazards Job Type:
